Exemplary Educator Award
 

2010 Exemplary Educator of the Year

**2010 Application

 

Purpose: The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding Wyoming educator who has demonstrated excellence in education by implementing innovative agricultural projects into the classroom and surrounding community. 

 

Rules of Eligibility:

B7   Any K-12 Wyoming educator or community based educator (rancher, farmer, conservation district employee, University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension employee, etc) is eligible.

B7   Individual educators or teams of educators can be nominated.

B7   Students, parents, school personnel, community members, or colleagues may nominate an educator or team.

B7   Submissions will only be considered if ALL rules of eligibility have been met and application is complete.

B7   No professional membership is required for nomination or selection.

 

Selection Criteria:  The selection committee is comprised of the members of the Wyoming Agriculture in the Classroom Education Committee.  All entries will be evaluated on the following:

B7   Application of basic agricultural and natural resources concepts in multiple academic areas,

B7   Program development that emphasizes critical thinking skills and analysis of information,

B7   Use of local resources, creativity, and innovation in the classroom,

B7   Development of studentsb
